Other users do not see the latest slicers configurations - PBI Workspace

Hello everyone,

I have built a dashboard and then uploaded it in a shared workspace.

The dashboard works perfectly, the credentials too.

After each refresh, the data slicers (referring to different snapshots) need to be updated in all pages.

The problem:

After refreshing the dataset, all the data is being updated, but the the other users see the latest slicers configuration only in the first page of the report. All other pages are being updated, but what the users of the report see is that the slicers in these other pages are from some older version of the report. They still can change the configurations of the slicers in the other pages and get to the same results.

Any ideas what could be the root cause?

Hi @Anonymous

This is because persistent filters have been enabled. What persistent filters are, is where it remembers each users filters which we applied to the report.

You can disable persistent filters in Power BI Desktop report, or you can ask them to click on the reset to default button which will reset all the filters. Below is what the reset to default button looks like.
