Org apps and customized access message

Does anyone know if the new Org Apps will come with a customized message option?

The docs dont show anything on customised messaging which is a bonus in the app per workspace.

I know its not relsaed as GA untik Q2 2026 but wondered if one of the feature areas in here might know.

Org apps does look to solve the issue with the one app per workspace, but does it solve the problem where each app might need the customized message option?

Based on current Microsoft documentation, Org Apps in Teams do not yet include a “customized access message” option. The upcoming Org Apps feature (expected GA in Q2 2026) focuses on solving the one app per workspace limitation and centralizing app management, but there’s no mention of per-app customized messaging in the official roadmap or admin guidance.

If your scenario requires customized messaging per app, you’ll need to rely on existing workarounds:

Use Teams app permission policies (until migration completes) to restrict apps by user groups.

Provide guidance via Teams channels, SharePoint pages, or onboarding documentation to explain app usage.

Note: Org Apps will fix distribution and governance issues, but they don’t currently solve the customized message requirement. If that’s critical for your org, you may need to push Microsoft via feedback channels (Teams Admin Center → “Give feedback”) to highlight the need.

What do you mean by customized message? Is it the description app message?

On the org apps you can do it on the settings:

The only question is that now is not a mandatory field

Its the customized access message thats what im after, thanks for both looking into it.

Ill raise the request via admin and see if we can gain some upvotes towards it.

Its an internal request in the company,  if you ping me on teams can share where it is
