I am finding that when I add a report to an org app and hit save, I always get
(X) Errror
An unexpected error occured.
Org app
I just save again and it works. It only happens if I add a report. If I change a section header for example I don't get a save error. Any ideas?
Its not worth my time (especially since I am retiring in a few months).
Ok thanks for your response. Happy retirement!
Its not resolved and I am going to live with it. Not worth the effort. Not sure if you can close this thread without a solution.

Maybe for someone else. WIth the effort to document, get browswer traces, schedule meetings, etc., I'd rather just click twice. Just wanted to share feedback on the preview in case enough see it. Is there a better way to give preview feedback?
Hi paivers,
We got it, thank you! I will try and repro and file a bug if I can.
Hi @paivers ,
Do you mean that you have a report and you are hitting publish on it and placing it into the workspace? Or, are you talking about updating the app with a report from the workspace? Also, do you have permissions for both locations?

Actually neither of those options. The home workspace for the report/model is in another workspace, but what you can do is "Save a copy" which copies the report to the Org App WS, but leaves the semantic model in place. Permissions are pushed down to the model as stated in the documentation below. It errors the first time it is added to the app, but immediately works after that.
>>If a report is built on a semantic model in a different workspace, users who are given access to an org app are automatically granted access to the model in the different workspace.
Hey @paivers ,
This might be worth putting in a support ticket for to see if Microsoft has a response as to why it works AFTER the first attempt. I don't know why it would fail once and then work after unless there is some sort of behind the scenes situation where it has to "setup" and then it works on subsequent attempts.
