Hello,
Reports have an option reset to default. We have some slicers that weren't showing the right values because of differences between our develop-database and the production-database. To get rid of these values, I would like to use the option reset to default for everyone of our users. Is that possible?
Kind regards,
BK1234
I am seeing this same issue - in my instance, I changed a slicer setting from Multiple select to single select, and republished.
I had a user in my office test, and they were still seeing the multiple select option. This did not resolve until the user selected reset to default, even after I republished two times. I would also like a reset for all users option to be added to handle cases like these.
Hi @BK1234 ,
AFAIK, power bi not contains feature to cache history records. If you source data changes, visual graph and data will sync to new datasource.
Maybe you can try to use bookmark to save current filter selection and use them on service side.

Hi @Anonymous,
Thanks for replying. Power BI caches slicer-values for a specific user. So when the user returns to PowerBI.com, his chosen slicer-value is still selected. AFAIK, the user himself is the only one who can reset these values to the default in which we published with the button I mentioned in my post. I would like to do this for the user, for all users, but I don't know if it's possible and if it is, how.
HI @BK1234 ,
Did you means personal bookmark? Current it only works for creator, you can't share it to other users.
I'd like to suggest you to submit an idea for share personal bookmark.
