2 years agoOptimizing connection to a third-party database via Power BI Service: setting up IP address whitelis
There is a database from a third-party service that we need to connect to from Power BI Service. What is the optimal way to set up a white list of ip addresses for this database so that it does not block connection from Power BI Service? Is it possible to use a domain name? What are some ways to do this? Write the pros/cons of these ways? How can I configure using app.powerbi.com domain name as while list: what domain name should be specified on the service side so that there are no connection problems?
