Open local file

Hello people,

 

Currently I'am trying to open a local file(.ifc) via the weburl however, the file opens in the browser. The result looks as below. 

I have only made a screenshot of the beginning of the file.

 

Does somebody know how I can open the file in the locally installed application?

    Hi jhaastBI ,

     

    What application do you want to use to open your local files? power bi desktop? Generally we can change the default opening method of a file by selecting how it is opened.

      We will view the report in Power BI Service and we want to open the file in the application "Trimble connect". The default opening method is currently Trimble connect, so that should be okay.
