Open Live PBI Web Report in PBI Desktop App

Hi,

 

One of my colleagues shared a live PBI Report with me, that is opening in PowerBi Web. Since I want to work on that I want that report to be open on my Desktop Application. The report is live and will be updated on daily basis, so I want to open it in a way that if a person changes something on their end it also reflects on my Desktop application.

    Hey Anonymous ,

     

    unfortunately, this will not work.
    it's not possible to link the web version of a report to a pbix file, that can be opened in Power BI Desktop.
