Onedrive and Sharepoint resfresh

Hi All,

I have connected my data which is in Onedrive or Sharepoint to a newly created dataflow and then I imported this to Power BI Desktop to create some dax measures and for data modeling and save this file to Onedrive and then import this file for dataset in PBI Service

Schedule refresh is set on dataflows, and onedrive refresh is set on dataset.

If the data changes from the source files would this effect the dataset which is connected to the PBI file saved on onedrive or do I have to configure the data gateway?

Hi  @Kzohaib823 ,

You need to make sure to configure scheduled refresh in the previous data flow, after that your files are kept in Onedrive, and Onedrive is cloud data sources, Power bi can directly connect to cloud data sources, no gateway required, accordingly, you can manage the configuration of these data sources by using the Data source credentials section in the dataset settings.
