OneDrive Refresh

I have a problem that I it seems no one has ever mentioned in the forum yet... I am wondering if it has to do with me using the free plan temprarily...

I have created a report in PowerBI Desktop and saved it as PBIX file on OneDrive for business. All of the data has been imported from Excel files, also on OneDrive. Some of these files update automatically. I have published the report to PowerBI Service and would like to enable the automatic OneDrive refresh. Under Gateway and Cloud Connections, I see an active cloud conneciton to the Share Point. However, under Refresh History, there are no refreshes unde the OneDrive tab. Also, under the Semantic Model tab, there is no option to enable or disable OneDrive refreshes. Shouldn't this option appear automatically if the cloud connection has been detected? If not, how do I activate OneDrive refreshes. The Microsoft documentation online says nothing about the option not being visible.

Thank you to all who can help! Kudos forthcoming!

found the solution here. The problem was just worded in a different way and the proposed solution is slightly outdated because the interface in PBI service has changed somewhat. But it is still valid. If "data source credentials" is greyed out and you do not see the section for one drive refresh, then you need to update the credentials for the data source in the workbook settings. 🙂
