One Drive Connection give the error message.

I have connect to power BI with One Drive json file. For this I am using Web connection in Power BI dekstop.

Below Link I am using:

https://americanhighschool-my.sharepoint.com/personal/developer_americanhighschool_onmicrosoft_com/Documents/ZohoCRMData/accounts.json

But At power BI service I add this details for Schedule refresh this give me that error message.

Can you please let me know what I do wrong.

I am using same login details which I used for Web at time power BI dekstop.

hi @mohittimpus

If you go into settings, then datasets and click on your dataset, can you click on Data Source Credentials and add your credentials there?

and if you could change the Authentication Method from Basic to Organizational?

Hi @v-lili6-msft ,

We are using the same password which we are using to connect the one drive file in Power BI desktop, the same credentials I'm using for Power BI Service and also have selected organizational account but still It's give the error message.

Thanks,

Currently there is NO way to set up a scheduled refresh, if your file is on ONE DRIVE, or SHARE POINT, where you need to login using the "Organisational Account" credentials option.

It will work in PowerBI Desktop, but as soon as you publish from there to PowerBI online, when you try to set up a scheduled refresh you will get the following error:

"Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again."

If you from there try to edit the credentials, the only options you will have are:

- Anonymous

- Windows

- Basic

Unlike PowerBI Desktop, no "Organisational Account" option!

This is basic functionality that should ought to really have been fixed a while ago!
