One Desktop file, 2 reports in a workplace

Hi all,

 

I want to publish 2 reports in the same workplace, from the same PowerBI desktop file. In the service I can see "Save a Copy" but you can't save a copy in the same workplace? is there an easy way aorund this other than having 2 seperate PowerBI Desktop files?

    Hi. The best way would be thinking your first desktop as the dataset and create reports from that one. You can get data from Power Bi Service datasets in order to create a live connection model. That way you can create N reports from ONE datasets.

    Hi sarah2_williams 

    Did you publish the report into a classic workspace?

    Based on my test, a report in a new workspace is able to be copied to the same workspace. While a report in a classic workspace is not able to do this.
