OnPrem PowerBI Gateway required for Redshift Serverless

Hi,

 

Is an OnPrem PowerBI Gateway required for Redshift Serverless?

I have multiple AWS regions that require an on-prem gateway, i was wondering if I use redshift serverless "aws cloud" do I still need to set up an EC2 instance only for the On-Prem Gateways?

    Hi icassiem 

     

    Yes you would still need an On-Premise gateway. The only data sources supported without the On-Premise gateway are Microsoft related cloud services. And Redshift Serverless is within AWS which means it requires an On-Premise gateway.
