OnPrem Datagateway region different from Power BI

Hi,  We have a VM running SQL Server located in Europe West. On that server we have installed a OnPrem Datagateway in order to let a cube within Azure Analysis Services (Europe west) to be processed...

Hi there

As far as I understand you would either need to have a Gateway installed in the same region?

Or where ever your Gateway is installed it would need to have the correct access from your VM to the SQL Server.

Hi,

Okay, so the reason for not seeing the gateway is that is in another region? And it is not possible to have it like that?

    Yes, the data regions should be consistent.
