On-premises datagateway cluster: power bi uses inactive gateway?

We have an on-premises datagateway cluster with 2 servers DG-01 and DG-02.

For some reasons we had to disable (last week) DG-01. (set-onpremisesdatagateway -ClusterObjectId xxxxxxx -gatewayObjectID xxxxx -Memberstatus None)

(Almost) Everything seems to work fine and get data by using DG-02.

In app.powerbi.com, we still see (at this moment) that they are using DG-01 (configuration of the dataset refresh, gatewaycluster is choosen correctly, but we see the wrong servername in the status). How is this possible?

Reason of this question is that we have to be sure that all the connections are going by DG-02.

Other reason is that we are searching why some datasets don't refresh automatically. (But I'll open another case for that description!)

Do you mean that you have disabled the Server DG-01, but someone still could use DG-01? Did they could refresh dataset successfully?

If It is convenient, could you share some screenshots about your scneario such as the gateway cluster setting.

Best Regards,

Cherry

I don't know (with certitude 100%) which server is in use.

As we think that DG-01 is disabled, DG-02 is running, datasets are refreshed without error (and without complaints from the business) we think that the refreshes happens through DG-02 but that the powerbi shows an invalid servername.

All the refresh-schedules mentions DG-01 as the server which in our opinion is a bug.
