On-premises data gateway (Personal-Mode) Installation Failed
Guys,
I've come accross several topics regarding the same exact issue as mine. But no solution seems to fit here in my laptop:
1) I cannot find the app ( non-existent on add/or remove programs and so on)
2) I've ran ccleaner and ran everything (cleared all temp files). But nothing
3) I've used registry cleaner and Nothing also.
4) I've also removed my appdata, but nothing..
What I can do More?

go hunt in the %APPDATA% sections for your users.

Please try the following methods and check if they can solve your problem:
1.Ensure that using the latest version by downloading it from the official.
Use a personal gateway in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
2.Right click on the installer and select run as administrator.
3.Check that the computer version and gateway version is suitable.

4.Find the %TEMP% directory to view the logs.

I've installed PBI Gateway Personal-Mode on Thursday and it worked wonders. Although by Friday it didn't, so I tried to perform an uninstall (with administrator credentials) and it didn't work.
I've used ccleaner (nothing), cleaned all appdata, but nothing.
Have no idea, but lately we are facing some issues with applocker here, so don't know if it's something related or not.Format the only way to go? eheh
