On Premises gateway mistakenly removed

The power bi on premises data gateway was mistakenly removed and now all my reports are showing blank visuals. My architecture teams says the gateway is online but i cant see it on power bi service. How do i  restore the gateway if it is online. I need urgent help. Below is what i see on power bi service

Hope you saved the recovery key when you 1st insalled the GW ?
Download the latest version of GW from https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/gateway/ and install, you will be prompted to either Register new or Migrate,. Restore...

Choose the 2nd option and proceed. 

It should get your GW up and running

@Fowmy i inherited the old gateway, and not sure if they have the pin but i have asked for that anyway. If the key is lost, what will be the next step? Start from scratch by installing a new on premises gateway and re-establishing the links?

Yes, you can do a new registration and configure the same in the service.
