    alonb Where did you set up the On Premises Data gateway? Your machine? The server needs to have access to the Excel file.

    Alternatively, if you Excel file is in a Cloud location like SharePoint online or OneDrive, then you are trying to mix a cloud source with an on premises data source and this cannot be done with the the Enterprise Gateway yet.

Hi,

 

Thanks a lot for the help, Finally I decided to manage the data from the power bi in "Enter Data" option and I removed the excel files.

Then I set up the On Premises Data Gateway from a single data source (sql server) It seems to work fine.
