On-Prem connection not working
Hi All,
I need your help with a matter that i have and i cannot find a solution anywhere or don't know where to start from troubleshooting this.
We used to work with an external company that helped us develop a Power BI report, which takes data from Dynamics 365 and SAP Business Warehouse.
Since we are not working with that company anymore, it has been more than a year. report hasnt beein rreffreshed.

The refresh is failing with the following message:

and these are the Gateway and cloud connection settings
If i go to Manage Connections and Gateways in PBI server all connections are Online, but the SAP Business Warehouse is grayed out
These are the settings for the on-prem gateway connection
I've also opened the datamodel and entered in the Transform data page just to check the BW query status, as expected all BW queries were failed with the same error message:

These are all the details i can provide, i hope i didn't miss something.
I'm confuged now where the problem is, is in the the gateway because of the message :

Or it is the credential issues that i see in the Transform data view?
Any suggestions how to troubleshoot this?
I don't have directly access to the Gateway but i'm working with the local admins on that matter so if there are any steps that needs to be done locally (any changes or configurations) i can pass them to the lcoal team and see if they help with refreshing the dataset successfully.
you made the unfortunate decision to merge your on-prem and your cloud data sources in Power Query. That now requires the cloud data source to be refreshed through the gateway. However your gateway configuration has that setting "Allow cloud data sources to be refreshed through this gateway" switched off.
Best advice would be to start over, without merging (instead using the data model joins), so that the cloud data source does not need the gateway.

The SAP BW refresh fails because the dataset isn’t correctly mapped to the On-premises Gateway. To fix it, map the dataset to the correct SAP BW data source in the gateway and ensure server details and credentials match. If needed, update the connection in Power BI Desktop and re-publish the report.
