On Prem Data Gateway for Multiple Subscription
We have install Data Gateway on one server. We have multiple clients and they want to access their data through our gateway but using their Power BI account/subscription. If I configure gateway on server using 1st client power BI subscription only 1st client can see their data but not other client.
How do we configure multiple power bi subscription on gateway software on one machine?
Hi Anonymous
Did you try to share the gateway with other users?

That's not how gateways work.
Gateways have connections, and connections have credentials and users. Whatever credentials you specify for a connection will be used when a connection user requests a data source refresh via the gateway. There are some exceptions where you can use credential pass through but these are limited to SSAS sources I think.
Subscriptions have nothing directly to do with gateways.

Once you configure PowerBI On-Perm Gateway, it requires a login (Power BI Account).
If I use [email protected] then gatway will available only to users of abccorp.com depending on you have given users the access of gateway.
See step 3 at below link, try to use any email which doesn't have powerbi account and see if you can register.

I have 3 powerbi subscription for 3 company abccorp.com, xyzcorp.com and 123corp.com, I can only use one email from one domain to register Gateway.
Hope that make sense.
We would just want to use one gateway and share to 3 different Power BI subscription domain users.

Correct, a gateway is tied to a single AD domain by design.
