I updated my On-Prem Gateway this morning per a normal maintenance schedule check and now the Gateway is having issues connecting to a MySQL dataset, but the error makes no sense.
Details:
VC3-CAE-SSA-02: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).'
I have tried to look up information on this, but nothing I have found so far seems relevant to my issue. This error began immediately upon restarting the Gateway after the update completed and after checking all my datasources associated with it, the only one having issues is the MySQL connection. The SQL, Azure and SP connections still function with no issues and those reports (not using MySQL data) are refreshing fine. I was able to refresh and publish the report with the MySQL data in the Desktop version, so I know the server and credentials are valid.

Ended up resolving by updating our MySQL Connector; downloaded latest Connector/NET from dev library here: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/ and installed on the server hosting our Gateway, restarted Gateway and all was well.
