Hi Community,
I am using a mysql Connection with the Connector Gateway and daily automatically refresh of the data. Yesterday the database hardware was down and our admin configured a new server. Every setting is same then before. I am able to refresh the data manually in the semantic modell:
But when I try to reactivate the automatic refresh I get no connection to the sql server. This is strange when it works manually but not autmatically?
I have no idea what happened and how I can solve it .. Does anybody has an idea? Thank you Nicole

Hi @nludwig
When you say you are able to refresh manually, do you mean on the desktop? if yes, then your DB admin need to whitelist the incoming request coming from the gateway machine. In my experience, whenever admin build new machine and if you are not able to refresh it from the services, most of the time it is firewall and proxy routing related issue. You need to talk to your internal networking team to understand the network traffic flowing from Power BI service to your onprem data source.
Thank you @skygold16 .. It is weired, I can update by click on the refresh button in the app:
but planing the schedule refresh gives the error:
I - and the admins - dont believe it's a server configuration thing. Do you have another idea? Thanks Nicole
