Office 365 credentials refused when setting up data refresh in Power BI
Hi,
I believe I have the same problem you describe. I have published a number of reports from Power BI Desktop using excel files stored on OneDrive for Business. I was able to schedule a refresh of these datasets using my OneDrive credentials.
This worked flawlessly until approxamitely a week ago. Now when I upload a report/dataset I cannot get it refresh, it seems like my credentials are not being updated.
Previous datasets are still updating though.
Please let me know how you get on with Microsoft...

Thanks Derek,
you describe a scenario identical to mine.
- New datasets pulling data from Excel file(s), stored on OneDrive for Business, using Web.Contents() refuse valid credentials when updating
- Old datasets in the same exact situation still refresh with no hiccups.
I think reporting your experience might be valuable for Microsoft, thanks for sharing.
[EDIT: you should follow this discussion on answers.microsoft.com, here the Microsoft Team will report about my issue. As you see this seems to involve my entire account, I am experiencing other weird symptoms with account provisioning and Office 365. Feel free to reply there as well making them aware of your issue).

I think I can repro the same issue as you. In Power BI Desktop, I get data from a excel file on OneDrive for Business with the steps in this official document. After I publish it to Power BI Service, I try to change the data source credential to OAuth2. Everything looks fine until now. But once I click edit credential again, the credential reverted to Anonymous. If I click refresh now, the refresh will be failed.
I find that there is already a same issue reported. Power BI team are working on it. Based on the information I get, the fix maybe available later this week (11/26). Please try it later and post back if issue still persists.
Best Regards,
Herbert

I´m having the same problem.
But in my case the data source is Google Analytics.Any news about this issue?
