ODBC Gateway connection issue

Hi,

Previously I was able to connect gateway with odbc but after changing gateway computer can not.

Here are my steps .

1.Create report with odbc connection and publish to server

2.Create system dsn at gateway computer both 32 and 64 bit

3.

Press to add to gateway and added datasource with

string Driver={IBM i Access ODBC Driver};System=xxxx.COM

 

but I can not see gateway at above screen

Need Help

    Hi,

     

    Anonymous , GilbertQ 

    I ceated datasource, and I made;

    Datasource name = system dsn name ( including the case sensitivity) ->dsn=opgl turquie

    added connection string to datasource

    added credentials

      Hi swordm 

       

      Can you confirm if the gateway can connect to the data source?

       

      If you log into the gateway and test it from there does it work?

        Hi GilbertQ ,

        Gateway can reach database via odbc installed

        bot 32-64 bir user and system dsn installed on sserver.

    Hi swordm 

     

    The data source connections can be case sensitive if you can make sure that the ODBC names match exactly including the case sensitivity?

    Could you please try configuring datasource with the same DSN name and make sure to enter credentials.

    Then try configuring again.
