In addition you should check whether dataflows meet your
- Scale requirements (amount of data) - while we are activly working to support larger scale, currently dataflows are still limited, especially in computation over large data sizes.
- Data freshness (especially if you are using direct query, which isn't supported yet for dataflows)

For your scenario, I'm afraid that you should check if dataflows supports your data source.
If dataflows in power bi supports your data source, then you don't need a data warehouse.
