Not possible to create Report from Shared Dataset

Hi,

I use two differents users (same profiles).
With firts user I can create report from shared dataset => icons Create report, View related, Analyse in excel are available.
With second user, it's not possible => only View related, Analyse in excel icons are available.

Any idea ?
Thanks

  • Hi NydelFyr ,

You need to contact the second user to require edit permission, in the underlying dataset using "Manage permissions" option, after adding users, grant you permission "Allow recipients to build the new content from the underlying datasets" .see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-share-dashboards#troubleshoot-sharing.
