I've developed a new card visua on Desktop with Image in Formatting like this
But when i publish to Service, there is no image display on the new card visual. Is it an error or do I need to turn on anything before publishing report to Service ?

Hi @bao_phan,
The behaviour you are experiencing is due to the fact that the New Card visual is currently in preview and, at present, is supported only in Power BI Desktop.
For more information regarding the New Card visual and its limitations, you may refer to the official documentation at the following link:

It seems that the issue with base64 not displaying an image has been fixed in Power BI service. I refreshed the page today and the image is now showing.

Hi @v-pnaroju-msft , it's still not working, I tried to read image from One Drive but the New Card visual still did not display the image. But the image still displayed when I changed it into Table visual. Maybe it is the New Card error I think. I am using the image url link from Copy Link like this:
Thank you, @GilbertQ , for your response.
Hi @bao_phan,
We sincerely appreciate your query on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Based on my understanding, the issue appears to be related to how Power BI processes image sources. Images embedded locally or through base64 encoding are not supported in visuals such as the New Card when the report is published to the Power BI Service.
We recommend the following approach, which may help in resolving the issue:
Use Web-hosted Image URLs.Upload the image to a publicly accessible location, such as SharePoint Online, OneDrive, or Azure Blob Storage. Then, use the image URL in the visual’s formatting settings. This ensures that the image renders correctly on the Power BI Service.

Was this a recent change? I've been using Base64 images for half a year in multiple reports and only this month has service displayed something different. My situation is a little different, it displays the base 64 text in service and the actual image in the desktop version. When I try with images hosted in sharepoint it gives me this image.
That is correct, because the SharePoint Online is not an image hosting service.
I'm seeing the same issue. Would love to know if there's a solution for this.
Hi @bao_phan
Just to be sure, could you make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of power BI desktop as sometimes there might be a bug which will be fixed in later releases?
I have updated the latest PowerBI Desktop version but it still did not work. I crawled data from a website and store data to PostgreSQL database, including image url in that webpage and I use the image url from the web to display in Power BI, it works beautiful in Desktop but disappear in Service (the image url would look like this: https://abc.xyz.com/dms/image/v2/asdqweaf/profile-displayphoto/asdklhjqoweaksjhd.png). Let's me try v-pnaroju-msft's solution and come back with new update.
