Hi Experts,
I want to create a "3D Column Chart" in Power BI Desktop, similar to the 3D Column Chart in Microsoft Excel. I tried searching for it in the marketplace but couldn't find any visuals that match this feature, either from the standard options or the marketplace. I have also tried different approaches, but none worked as expected.
Could anyone please suggest a relevant source to achieve this.

In Power BI with this custom visual
You can with Deneb (Vega) but not that straightforward.

Looks like you can in R as well

Also looks like you can in Paginated Reports
No. There is not much value in providing a 3d visualization of a 2d chart as it add no benefit, with the downside of making comparisons harder, so not much call for them

Hi @gln ,
Unfortunately, Power BI Desktop does not currently support 3D Column Charts, either as a native visual or through available marketplace visuals.
If 3D charting is important for your use case, I recommend submitting your suggestion or voting for a similar request on the Power BI Ideas Forum.
Microsoft actively monitors the forum, and features with high community interest are often considered for future development.

Hello @gln ,
Thank you for your question. I see that @Deku has already suggested alternatives like AppSource Custom Visuals, Deneb , R Visuals, and Paginated Reports. @Deku , Thank you for your valuable information.
Additionally, I'd like to point out that Power BI in Microsoft Fabric doesn't natively support 3D column charts like Excel.
However, within Fabric, the best no-code option would be Paginated Reports, which support 3D effects natively.
