No live tile refresh - KPI Matrix visual
Hi,
MS SQL source, connected via gateway.
Created couple of reports.
1. Using standard visuals.
2. Another is using "Power KPI Matrix" from store:

Data is "direct query".
Reports are working.
Datasets are on scheduled refresh, 15 minutes, working.
As far as I can see all settings are identical.
Pinned live Dashboards from each report.
No user interaction - "TV mode". These are for wall display only.
#1 Dashboard is updating
#2 Dashboard is not updating. No refresh of data and last refresh timestamp does not change.
Any ideas? Do some (custom) visuals not work with live refresh? It seems strange that one works and other doesn't.
I see some workarounds like use browser plugin to force refresh but f possible like to get working with native Power BI refresh.
Any information or suggestions appreciated.

Hi,
I think problem was I used "pin live page" rather than tile.
I realsied this when I created report from scratch again and created dashboard.
I found if used pin tile option then automatic refresh works without broswer refresh.

Based on my test, you should refresh the browser to see the latest data for the dashboard once the dataset has been refreshed. I tested standard visuals and custom visuals. So using use browser plugin is the only way here I think.
