No Refresh Timestamp in Header when connected to Power BI Dataset

I recently changed my report to point to a power bi dataset, and now I'm not seeing the refresh date in the header in the service.   Before when report joined to dataset               ...

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Changing a report's data source and refreshing a data set are two different concepts. In theory, you are only adjusting the dataset to which the report points, but neither dataset is refreshed.

    I think you missed the point of the question. The question is not why did they not see the timestamp change. His question is, why is there no display of a timestamp? ie there was a display but now there is no display.
