No Option to Transform Data

Hello, I am not seeing the option to transform the data as I am uploading it. Basic question, but can anyone help me ?

    You cannot transform stuff that isn't there.  First get some data.

    The screenshot didn't reflect this step in the process, but I have loaded  the data. Even after doing so, there is no option to transform, nor is it clear how to get to the Power Query Editor. Also, using it through Office 365 on a Mac, fwiw.

      Yeah, that might have been something you might have wanted to mention from the beginning. Is this Excel for Mac ? Can you try with a different file?

    Hi, dconnolly 

    Thanks for lbendlin's reply. After testing, even if there is no data in the table, the data can be converted normally, perhaps you can try to open Power Query directly in Desktop, and then import excel.
