No Longer Receiving Refresh Failure Notifications

Hi all,

We are working on an issue to fix an issue regarding how often our PowerBI fails to refresh the data. While we work on this- we are noticing that we are no longer receiving notifications that the refresh fails.

Please advise as soon as you can. Thank you.

    Hi Anonymous

    Consider the following scenario:

    • If a scheduled refresh fails four consecutive refreshes, the refresh is automatically stopped
    • If the data is configured with credentials, check whether the credentials have expired, causing the refresh to fail to start
    • If there is a gateway, check whether the gateway is offline or configured incorrectly, which prevents the refresh from starting
    • Check whether the relevant refresh failure messages are configured for the appropriate person

Can you make sure that in your dataset settings, the scheduled refresh is still enabled.

And then ensure that it has got the box ticked for either Dataset Owner and others?
