New tile on a existing dashbord don't work

Hello, 

We have 4 dashbords with 10 tiles and since 2 years work very well.  But since couple of weeks, when we add new Tile the refresh don't work but for all others old tiles all work.

Do you have any idea what could be causing the new tiles not to work but the old tiles to work for a few weeks? Power bi version, gateway, security ?

First of all, the reasons for tile refresh failures generally include the following aspects:

    1. The data source in your old tile is not the same as the data source in the new tile , and then the new tile requires a gateway and your gateway goes offline.

    2. You didn't configure credentials for your new tile data source.

    3. The visuals for the new tile are disabled by your administrator.

The data source is the same for the old and new tile and the same report.  We just replace the same tile.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on what you said, if the data source is the same, the new tile won't refresh may be a change in the original visualization of the report.

The workaround could be, and my suggestion would be to recreate a report with that visualization to publish to the service, and then pin the live page to the dashboard
