New left navigation bar
With the latest update, Power BI service (at my company at least) now has a left-nav bar that cannot be expanded to show icons and labels - it's always icons-only. Is there any way to fix this? Not a...

Unfortunately as far as I can see there is no way to change this.

Not sure if there was another solution posted yet, but I was having the same problem.
My co-worker found this option. Adding a few lines at the end of your URL for the PBI Service gets the full list and show/hide icon.
This worked, thank you. I have added the ?tridentStageTwo=0 to test and it works for workspaces and Data hub as well. Thank you!
