Hi,
We have a gateway that is intalled in our SQL servers and it is up and running.
I downloaded a new data gateway to my dynamics 365 dev enviroment because I wanted to create a new data gateway on the portal. I did install it in the dev machine and it is up and running. But when I go to the portal I dont see it.
I am wondering why., what do I need to check?
Thanks

Hi @AstridM
The account you use when creating the Gateway is the same account you need to log into the Power BI Service with.
From there you can then assign yourself as the admin for that gateway
Hi @AstridM
When you log into the Gateway software on your Dev Server does it say it is successfully connected to the Power BI Service?
If not you will need to log in and create the connection with your account. It should then appear in the Power BI Service.
Yes it says it is connected.
Hi @AstridM
What happens when you go to the Admin Center do you see the gateway there? Power Platform admin center (microsoft.com)
I dont see it. Can I manually add it? I used a new service account. does it matter? Does the account needs a power bi license?
