New Workspace - Excel Connect to data

Question

Hello all,&nbsp;Anyone try connecting to a report/dataset stored in the new workspaces through the Publisher for Excel? The workspace doesn't seem to show up for us, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.&nbsp;Thanks!

Opened a ticket with Microsoft.&nbsp;Demonstrated the issue and the tech says "the new workspaces don't&nbsp;have that capability. use the old ones."&nbsp;I say "but all the workspaces with be the 'new ones' eventually"..."Can I close the ticket?"...

By my tests, if we connect the data in Power BI Service with&nbsp;Publisher for Excel add-in, we cannot have the option of new app workspace under the Workspace list.
&nbsp;
 I'm afraid this may caused by the Power BI publisher for Excel Add-in is not updated recently and the new app workspace in Power BI is a new Preview feature.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
You'd better have a contact with the support team about Excel to get more help.&nbsp;

Same trouble here, and we use datasets heavily in excel analysis.have someone find solution for this problem?
