New On-premises data gateway (personal mode) giving error

Hi ,

I uninstalled the previous gateway connection. Installed the new On-premises data gateway (personal mode).exe.

The os is windows server 2008.

Set up the data set. The connection is online.

Set up the data credentials and also the timing for refresh.

I am getting the following errors in the refresh.

Cannot connect to the mashup data source. See error details for more information

It says timeout expired.

I tried the same on my local laptop, there is no issue.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi there what I would suggest is to enable the Verbose settings on the Personal Gateway and see if it is indicating any error messages there.

The only other thing that I can think of is Windows Server 2008 supported? I am sure it should be, but it might be worth a check.

Hi all,

My client restarted the server having the new on premisess gateway ( personal ) and it is working perfectly.
