Hello All,
I want to upgrade two gateways to the leatest (3000.146.10) version. When I run the installer I get a message that the installation failed. The reason stated is that I am trying to reinstall a version already installed.
This is not correct. The version installed is 3000.142.14 and the version of the installed is clearly 3000.146.10 as show below.
I did see a use posting in the Blog announcing this new version that had the same issue for the standard gateway but there was no solution provided, https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/on-premises-data-gateway-october-release/
Anyone else seeing this issues and is there a solution to it?

According to the official documentation:
You might come across the following error if you try to install the same version or a previous version of the gateway compared to the one that you already have.
Refer to:
Troubleshoot the on-premises data gateway | Microsoft Learn
You can try to completely uninstall the current gateway and re-download the latest gateway:
