New Gateway Not Recognized by the Service

So the last Gateway I setup was years ago. I even migrated that gateway to a new server, but did not have to touch the Fabric/Power BI side. (Side note migrating the gateway from one server to antoher like when the server OS was EoL was super easy... MS did a good job).

So I did not see this in the documenation or the way it was written I just badly overlooked it (I proaby just missed it). I installed the new gateway with  a service account. So when I went to Manage Conections and Gateways it by default only shows gateways assigned to you. Thus did not show the Gateway to me as I was logged on as my account not the service accont.  

I turned on "Tenant administration" on the top right corder of the On-Premises data gateways. Saw my new gateway.  Went down hand hovered over clicking on the 3 dots. Updated the settings to allowed what wanted. I knew that would not fix it but... Then i went back to the 3 dots and did "Mange users". I added my account and a few others. then  went back and set my permissions to Admin and other to other approperate levels.

Now the gateway shows up and all is good.

I do appreciate your ideas on this.. I even asked a few of the AI tools out there and they did not have a good suggestion.
