New Dataflow Connector Glitch with Gateway refresh

I started using the new dataflow connector for 2 of my datasets. They were refreshing fine using the existing on-premises gateway. I updated the gateway a few days ago and the refreshes for these datasets began failing. I saw another post on here that said to revert to the old Legacy connector and I did that. It worked for one but not the other dataset. 

Is the problem the connector or the refreshed gateway or something else?

The dataset settings under 'Data source credentials' say:

"Failed to test the connection to your data source. Please retry your credentials"

while at the same time:

"admin has granted access, credentials are not required"

There is no other Authentication method available and no matter which Privacy level I choose it always fails.

Could you share the screenshot when you select "edit credentials"?

It's the pop up window in my screenshot that says 'Configure Sales Dashboard'
