This bug still seems to exist?

In my scenario (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) the picture will not be copied to any Office 2016 program (32-bit). In Teams it is working fine.

    Hi Arnaud_R ,

Sorry for that, but based on my test, this feature works on my side. Where is your visual coming from, dashboard or report? Have you tried to reproduce this issue in Edge or IE browser? Does it work before? Please also consider the limitation mentioned in this post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-copy-a-visual-as-an-image/

There are limitations around Copy Visual including:

    • Limited support for custom visual formatting such as:
      • Visuals with applied themes and colors
      • Tile scaling when pasting
      • Custom visuals with animations
    • Copying constraints:
      • Cannot redirect users to content with Odata filters and sticky states such as personal bookmarks
      • Pinned live pages are not supported
    • Applications with limited support for pasting HTML-formatted content from the clipboard may not render everything that was copied from the visual

    Best regards,

        Hi Arnaud_R ,

Thank you for your additional information, we can also reproduce this issue with ppt 2016, and it can be paste as picture in other application, such as Word 2016. It seems a limitation mentioned in document:

Applications with limited support for pasting HTML-formatted content from the clipboard may not render everything that was copied from the visual

We will confirm if it is an issue and we will update here if we got anything new. As a workaround, you can try to paste to other application first, such as word, then copy this picture into ppt.

        Best regards,
