New Card Visual -- lower background color-layer does not work with rounded corners

The figure below the divider does not follow the configured shape when set to "rounded corners". Also, it seems like numbers are tilted downwards towards the divider. Renders as expected in Desktop (first image), but fails when publishing to Services (second image).

  • Hi Ocyris

Can you confirm that you have got the latest version of PBI desktop installed (There was one now in Feb 2024). I am hoping that this might resolve your issue!

    Hi, Ocyris

Based on your description, you seem to be experiencing two main issues, the "rounded corners" configuration is not being applied correctly below the divider line in the Service, and the numbers are sloping towards the divider line. In my testing, everything works fine and you can try the following to resolve the issue.

To address the "rounded corners" configuration issue:

    1. verify that the issue persists across browsers after publishing to the Service, as browser rendering can sometimes affect visual appearance.

Regarding the issue with numbers sloping toward the dividers:

This behavior may be related to the visual rendering in Power BI Services, which may differ slightly from the desktop version.

    1. review the text size and font settings for the card visualizations in Power BI Desktop to ensure that they are set to values that prevent overlapping or skewing.
    2. Consider adjusting the position of the dividers or the layout of the visualization to provide more space for the figures, which may help avoid this issue.

If you compare my card-design with yours, they are not identical. There seems to be som issues with differing configurations between Services and Desktop; when I edit one of my objects (published from Desktop) in Services there are duplicates of the "rounded corner" options, and when I select the non-selected option I get the figure shape as shown in your picture.
