New Calendar year doesn't appear from datasource?

Hi everyone, super green to Power BI so my apologies if this is in the wrong spot.

I have a report for sales info that's connected to an IBM iSeries DB with ODBC inside Power BI and built a report off of it. The last data that report has is from 12/31/2022 at Midnight. The datasource has information for 2023, but it doesn't appear it's getting updated in the report fields. Auto refresh is on and there's no errors for refreshes, so I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas?

Thanks!

So, I managed to get it resolved. It was purely due to my knowledge with Power BI as a whole I think. There was a query taking place on the report that I couldn't see without downloading the report and opening in PBI Desktop. I was able to then make appropriate changes to the query to get the right data.

I'll have to read up more on Power BI. Thanks for the input gents!

    Hi Anonymous ,

When you get data with ODBC connector, data will import into Power BI , if you want to get the latest data from datasource, you need to set the schedule refresh policy or refresh the dataset on demand in Power BI Service Portal.
