I got it to work by switching from using the Folder connector to using the Excel connector in Power Query instead. I also re-entered my credentials like you suggested. Thanks!
Thanks, aj1973. How do I check which credentials the gateway is using to connect to my Excel file? As far as I know I'm using the same credentials I've used before - that is, the credentials to the network drive. Those would not have changed since I last tried to connect to other similar files in the drive.
