Need Alternative for powerBI POST /datasets API

Hi powerBI folks,

Our usecase:

1. POST https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/datasets to create datasets in powerBI.

2. Create some tables,

3. Get data from some external endpoint

4. Use the postRows API to send data to powerBI.

Issue:

The create dataset API is deprecated by powerBI now ( getting 410 gone status code now ).

And I am being suggested to use microsoft fabric's RTI. 

How can I use the fabric's RTI for my usecase?

Hi @BilalM ,

You can use New-PowerBIDataset to create a Power BI dataset. This PowerShell cmdlet helps you create new dataset objects.
