Native database queries not working in Dataflows

Hi,

I am pulling some data from SQL server to dataflows. The queries use some prefiltering using SQL. Everything was working up until yesterday, but since then, when I try to pull data from this Dataflow, it comes up as blank - in desktop and also when I try to refresh reports in service (reports which use this dataflow). Note dataflow shows no errors and when editing the entities, I can see the data pulled in. But when I connect to this dataflow in my reports, it comes up as blank and no entities are visible.

I tried to remove the SQL prefiltering from the queries and then the entities show up when I try to pull data from the dataflow so it looks like the problem is there.

Any ideas?

It seems to be caused by date.

Similar issue for me: empty dataflows on expand in the navigator, previewing data within the source dataflow works just fine.

Enhanced Dataflows Compute Engine is off.  My DateTime columns are listed as DateTime.

I submitted a support ticket and showed them the error...unfortunately I'm on Premium so they had to transfer my ticket to premium support so now I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Hi @Vucko ,

I am afraid that Power BI service doesn't support it currently.

You could come up a new idea about that and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

This feature was working until last wednesday though. It was possible to allow native database queries inside dataflows.

The feature still work in the dataflows now - if I import such query it prompts me to enable native database queries. 

When pulling the dataflow into desktop report, it shows the dataflow "folder", but no queries indside. Same issue was reported by multiple users here already.
