MySQL ODBC Connector can not connect to data source
Hello community, I have installed a MySQL database on my computer, which I access with Power BI Desktop. I use the MySQL Connector/ODBC for this. As a MySQL user I use the root administrator account...
I also installed an on-premesis gateway on the machine with the MySQL database.that is generally not recommended. They will fight for the machine's resources.
Check the firewall settings on that machine and open the port. Make sure you use 64 bit ODBC. Consider using the .Net connector instead.
