My power BI file is able to refresh locally in PowerBI desktop, but it keep failing online workspace. With error saying: 

Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.

I tried manual refresh, re-published the file and cleared cache locally. None of this fix the issue.

Hi @cocopowerbi123 ,

It looks like you don't have a connection configured for your data source, you may need to use to gateway:

Add or remove a gateway data source - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

To refresh the dataset you need to configure source details in dataset's settings page.
What's your source?

Do you have schedule refresh?

my source is azure sql, and I have scheduled refresh. It failed due to db credential change, but power BI data source credentail setting grey out, and I cannot modify the credential setting to update it online
