Multiple select slicer disappears after saving

Hi!

I've got a weird (small) problem. I'm trying to add a multiple select slicer and this is working when I'm editing the page (see the picture below).

After I save it and refresh the page it disappears and goes back to the usual slicer where I can only select one of the years.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks in advance!

Ah, I found it. The report consists of 17 pages and the filter had interactions with each of them. I had to disable the interactions, edit the filter, save and then enable the filter interactions again. Now it works.

Hi @Youri98 ,

Ensure Multiple Selection is Enabled:

  • While editing the report, select the slicer.
  • Go to the Visualizations Pane.
  • Under the Format Your Visual section, look for the Selection Controls option.
  • Ensure that Multiple selection is turned on and Single select is turned off.

Save the Changes Properly:

  • After enabling multiple selection, ensure you Save the report before refreshing the page.
  • Sometimes, Power BI may not retain settings if the changes aren’t saved properly.

Can you also share your pbix file with some test data?

Please mark this as soltion if it helps you. Appreciate Kudos.

Hi @FarhanJeelani

Thanks, but this is exactly what I did. The problem is it doesn't save the settings. All other changes I make do save, apart from this one..
