Multiple Reports in One App?

Hello,

My team and I are currently in the migration process for multiple applications in Qlik Sense to Power BI. Each qliksense application serves a different purpose and different people, but all of them are still under the scope of supply chain, just different functions.

We have built some new reports that previously didnt exist in our Qlik environment in Power BI already, and for each of these we have separate workspaces and consequently different applications. Our vision is to avoid having too many applications for the supply chain community and rather consolidate everything in one place/app. Multiple people will be working on different reports and the idea is to have all those in the same app.

The question is, what are the pros and cons of this approach? Any limitation you see as a result of this? We will ultimately have 10+ reports.

Any advice on that matter would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot!

Hi @aerizk, Hope you are doing good!

Using a Power BI app will be a useful approach to share your content with broader audience. There is no such limit on number of reports you can add in the APP. But there are few limitations of Power BI App:

  • You can create one app per workspace.
  • You can create up to 25 audience groups per app.
  • A total of 10,000 users and user groups combined can have access to an app.
  • Each user group is counted as one entry against the 10,000 total.
