Modify paginated report export file name with parameters via url

Hi, I am trying to export a paginated report into excel via a URL but need to modify the file name based on parameters.

Any tips/ ideas are welcomed

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunatelly that approach is not an option. We are trying to create a button on a website that will allow users to download a report. The report name needs to be dynamic to the point that we need to pass the parameter values to builde the name of the file.

Please qualify "website" - what technology is behind that, ASP.net, PHP, something else? Can you call the Power BI REST API from that website?

It's ASP.Net  I am not the developer, I am just trying to help. Thanks for pointing me to calling the rest API. Do you have any documentation/ example I can pass along?
